The Metro's disappointing performance against the Chicago Fire continued with a 1-1 tie. The MetroStars have only won one game against the Fire in the last 12 games versus the Eastern Conference rival. The "people" in charge of weather blessed us with a nice day for grilling, drinking, and watching soccer.

Representing the First Row Idiots this week were Jason, John, Keith, Ofer and Ronen. Brian and Greg missed their first game due to their suspension at the last home game. Drew, Joey and Paul were MIA.

Jamaican Fabian Taylor gave the MetroStars an early lead in the 13th minute. He celebrated his goal right in front of the Idiots by taking off one of his trademark red shoes and put it on top of the corner flag. The Metros lead didn’t last very long with Chicago scoring the equalizer only 6 minutes later.
